The city of Clearwater is seeking to assist residents hardest hit by the COVID-19 pandemic if they are behind on their rent, mortgage, or utility payments.
 
This fund provides one-time financial assistance to individuals and families who have lost jobs or significant income due to COVID-19 to help pay for overdue rent, mortgage and utility bills. Residents can text COVIDCARES to 898211 to apply for assistance.
 
The Short-Time Compensation program is a voluntary employer program designed to help employers maintain their staff by reducing the weekly working hours during temporary slowdowns instead of temporarily laying off employees.
