Clearwater Young Professionals

designed for up and coming professionals

If you are young (or young at heart) and have a passion for mentoring and engaging in a youthful community, then CYP is great for you! Our mission is to provide our members business, networking, and volunteer opportunities to support the career development of young professionals and contribute to the future of our community. We thrive on providing an atmosphere for our young professionals to live, work and play in Clearwater. Membership is FREE for 3 years and gets you access to events, socials and forums throughout the year.

Public Policy & Transportation Committee

Chamber members and staff are active in Economic Development. We work closely with the City of Clearwater Economic Development and Pinellas County Economic Development Departments. We provide resources to help those seeking information on how to start a business and expand their business. Assistance with questions regarding city, county, and state business regulations can also be found with this group.

The Small Business Administration (SBA), which provides information about SBA loans and their other services, offers business seminars. SCORE, a voluntary free counseling service, partners with the Chamber and the Small Business Development Center to provide information to businesses.

This committee allows members that take interest in the political process to become more actively involved in issues and legislation. Many of these issues impact business in our community. As a result, committee members identify key issues and establish a legislative agenda. They advocate and educate to better prepare business owners and policymakers with the goal of a more business-friendly environment.

Events Committee

Events committees are created for each of our major event such as our Annual Gala, Chalktober Art Festival, Golf Tournament, and Taste Fest. These committees meet as needed throughout the year.

To join any of these events, please reach out to Jeni Torello at jeni@amplifyclearwater.com

Tourism Partners

This committee promotes Clearwater as a year-round tourist destination, offering educational and promotional opportunities for its members’ benefit. Meetings take place quarterly and are geared to general managers/owners, hospitality sales, and marketing executives. A guest speaker will address issues that relate to the hospitality industry and members discuss industry trends
